Situation of Royan

 Located on the "Côte de Beauté", the fashionable, bustling resort of Royan has sandy beaches, an abundance of cafes, restaurants and bars along the seafront.

Royan is located on the estuary of the river Gironde in the South West French Atlantic Coast, about 60 miles (100 km) from Bordeaux and 40 miles (60 km) south of La Rochelle.

The region is blessed with sunshine, sandy beaches, and is the authentic French coastline unlike the over commercialised French Riviera.

The Villa

 The Villa has been in our family since 1903, it was built circa 1900 for famous French barytone Lucien Fugère.

We still use it for family holidays, and weekend breaks during the year.

The villa is private and is set in a quarter of an acre (around 1100 square metres).

The villa is as described as we prefer to be honest about the villa and have satisfied guests.

We've been renting some weeks during the summer holidays, for many years and have had many satisfied customers.
